IELTS or PTE: which test should you take?

Our partner institutions accept both IELTS Academic and PTE Academic. The best choice depends on you.

IELTS Academic

• Speaking test with a person
• Paper or computer

PTE Academic

• Entirely on computer, including speaking
• Results usually within a few days

Plan your test date so that the result arrives at least two weeks before you need to apply. Your counselor will check the exact score each course needs.
